Sperm donation or sperm transplantation is a method applied to fathers who have no sperm in their ejaculate and cannot produce sperm. This treatment option provides hope for couples facing severe male factor infertility. When a man has azoospermia (complete absence of sperm in the ejaculate), there are two main types: obstructive azoospermia, where sperm production is normal but blocked, and non-obstructive azoospermia, where sperm production is impaired. In cases where surgical sperm retrieval (TESA/TESE) is not possible or unsuccessful, sperm donation becomes the viable option. Our sperm donation program uses carefully screened, healthy donors who have undergone comprehensive medical and genetic testing. All donors are tested for infectious diseases, genetic conditions, and overall health. The donor sperm is processed and stored in our cryobank under optimal conditions. The process involves selecting a suitable donor based on physical characteristics, blood type, and other matching criteria. The donor sperm is then used for fertilization through IVF or IUI procedures. This method has high success rates and offers couples the opportunity to achieve pregnancy when male factor infertility cannot be treated with other methods. We understand that using donor sperm is a significant decision. Our team provides comprehensive counseling and support throughout the process, ensuring that couples are fully informed and comfortable with their choice. Confidentiality and privacy are strictly maintained throughout the entire process.
